🔒 Read-only mode. The folder is opened for reading only — the browser will not ask for permission to change files, and nothing you do here is written to disk. The folder has to exist already: this mode can read it, but cannot create it.
Click “Open folder” and select the folder your plans are in (or any folder). Gantora looks for and saves plans in the folder you picked — no subfolder needed. Project files are .gantora (plain text, delimiter: |). Older .csv plans still open. The folder and your last file are remembered, so next time the app reconnects by itself (or with a single click).
Plans can also live in a Dropbox folder, shared with others: DB → ☁️ Dropbox…
Requires Edge or Chrome (File System Access API). Works fully offline, no installation.

Mass change
Each task that actually moves gets a dated history entry.
These are added to whatever each task already carries — nothing is taken away.
Every field left blank stays as it is on each task. There is no way to empty a field here — open the task itself for that.
Open your plans
Gantora keeps its plans in the folder you pick — no subfolder needed. The choice is remembered, so this is asked once on this machine.
Your browser needs one click to let Gantora back into the folder you used last. The plan you had open is opened with it.
Where are your plans? In a folder on this computer, or in a Dropbox folder — one you can share with others.
This plan has changed on disk
Comparing the two keeps both sides — nothing is written until you have said what the plan should say.
Connect this session to your Dropbox — two steps, a minute.
Why every time?
Connect this session to your Dropbox. Nothing is stored between sessions unless you ask for it below, behind a password — otherwise the next time you open Gantora you connect again, which is what keeps a copy of your account off this machine.
Forgot the password? “Forget it” removes the saved connection from this device — nothing on Dropbox changes — and the two steps below connect you afresh.

A Dropbox page opens in a new tab. Once you have allowed access it shows a code.

Which folder holds the plans?
This connection lives for this session only — next time you connect again.
Kept encrypted in this browser — without the password it is noise. Forgetting it costs one more trip to dropbox.com.
This device has no screen lock, so the connection cannot be kept on it. Everything else works as it does now: the two steps connect you each time.
May I keep this connection on this device?
Import from Excel
Combined view
Pick the project files to look at together. Every view — list, Design, Zoom and Res — then shows all of them at once, and the list gains a “DB File” column saying which file each task came from. Each file keeps its own IDs. The combined view is read-only: nothing you do in it is written to any file.
Compare & merge
Pick another copy of this plan. Rows are matched by the hidden id every row carries, so renumbering, reordering and renaming on either side make no difference. Only the plan on screen is changed — the other file is read and never written.

The ✨ button opens this assistant with the instruction already written. Your plan travels on the clipboard, in your own session — the app has no account and sends nothing itself.
Settings file
Kept in this browser. A page opened by double-clicking cannot read a settings file on its own, so the file is one you save and load by hand.
Dropbox: DB → ☁️ Dropbox… connects this session to a Dropbox account and a folder in it — a shared folder works between people. Nothing is stored between sessions unless you save the connection behind a password of your own; every save goes straight to Dropbox, gathered a couple of seconds after the last change, and a save over somebody's newer version opens the same conflict screen a synced folder does. Offline, the plan stays here unsaved and is written when the connection is back.
Runs entirely in your browser. No installation, no server, no third-party code — your project files never leave this computer.
Wastebasket
Deleted plans stay here until you remove them for good.
